IRCC message for sponsors regarding upcoming RAP rate increase
This is to inform you that the Resettlement Assistance Program (RAP) is moderately increasing its rates in Alberta, British Columbia and Ontario to align with provincial social assistance rates. In addition to the updated rates in the three provinces noted above, the transportation allowance will also be raised to $75 per month in all communities throughout Canada where the actual cost of a monthly transit pass is lower than that amount.
