Welcome to your BVOR sponsorship journey!<\/h2>\n

If you are new to the BVOR refugee sponsorship program, we encourage you to follow the recommended sponsorship training plan on this page to which will guide you through the entire process.<\/p>\n

What is the BVOR program?<\/h2>\n

This special program and partnership with the Canadian government matches potential sponsors (people like you!) with refugees abroad who are in need of a sponsor in Canada, to help them navigate their first year after they arrive here.\u00a0 BVOR refugees have already been accepted for resettlement to Canada, they just need a supportive community who will provide emotional, settlement, social and some financial support.<\/p>\n

Please note, refugees cannot be referred to the BVOR program, nor can they apply to be included. The selection is done based on a set of criteria laid out by the UN Refugee Agency and the Federal Government of Canada (IRCC).<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
